Discraft Paul McBeth 3 Pack Disc Golf Set
This premium three-disc bundle includes Soft Luna, Zeus, and Malta in signature McBeth colors. The Luna is released in a soft plastic for controlled approaches, while Zeus and Malta appear in X plastic for durability and distance. This set is best for players who want a versatile starter kit with different flight personalities in one purchase. Use this mix to cover approach shots, mid-range control, and distance drivers in a single round. Random color and weight variations add collectability and testing variety.
Best for: Beginners seeking a balanced mix, players building a McBeth collection, and disc golf fans who want McBeth’s layered lineup in one package.
Limitations: Colors and weights are random, which may require some adaptation and familiarization.
Discraft Paul McBeth Z Lite 3-Pack
This Z Lite 3-pack features the Anax, Athena, and Hades in lightweight Z Lite plastic with varied foils, plus an exclusive snap cap. The lightweight construction is ideal for newer players working on form without excessive effort, and for experienced players seeking easy-to-throw options during warmups. The varied weights and foils make each pack feel unique and collectible, which can help with practice variety.
Best for: Players prioritizing light discs for easier throws, and collectors who value limited-edition touches and a compact carry.
Limitations: Weight and foil differences mean performance can vary pack to pack, so expect some inconsistency in flight across discs.
Discraft Paul McBeth Z Luna 173-174 Gram Putt and Approach
This Z Luna putt and approach disc delivers a predictable feel for shorter shots around the basket. The 173-174 gram weight band offers a stable approach option that many players rely on for consistent mid-range flights. It’s a practical choice for players who want a specialized putt-and-approach tool that complements a longer-range bag.
Best for: Players focusing on precise putts and approach shots; enthusiasts looking to pair a reliable P&A disc with longer throws.
Limitations: Primarily a putt-and-approach tool, so it’s not the best choice for distance drives.
Discraft Paul McBeth Signature Fly Dye Elite Z Kratos
The Fly Dye Elite Z Kratos is an eye-catching putter with a reliable feel for approach shots and putting. The distinctive stamp and the Elite Z plastic yield a smooth release with solid grip. This disc is best for players who want a stylish, high-visibility putter that performs consistently in the closer range.
Best for: Players seeking a visually striking, dependable putter for short-range accuracy.
Limitations: Color and stamp variations may affect personal preference for grip and aesthetic.
Discraft Paul McBeth Soft Luna 173-174 Gram Puttt and Approach
The Soft Luna putt-and-approach disc uses a softer plastic blend for enhanced feel and grip. At 173-174 grams, it provides decent stability for shorter shots while offering forgivingputt lines. This disc is best for players who want a soft touch on the greens and smooth releases in tight spaces.
Best for: Players prioritizing touch and control on approaches and putts, particularly in crowded or windy greens.
Limitations: Softer plastics may wear quicker under heavy usage or rough ground conditions.
Buying Guide
Key factors to consider when choosing a Paul McBeth 3-pack set:
- Plastic Type: Z Lite, Elite Z, and Luna blends offer distinct feel and durability. Choose based on grip, glide, and wind performance.
- Weight Range: Lighter discs are easier for beginners and throwers with slower arm speed. Heavier discs provide stability for windy conditions and longer drives.
- Flight Profiles: McBeth’s discs offer a mix of putters, mid-ranges, and drivers. Match flight shapes to your current bag gaps.
- Intended Use: Some sets emphasize putt-and-approach, others cater to distance and control. Review each disc’s primary role to fill bag needs.
- Visual Design: Signature stamps and colorways add collectible value but may affect visibility. Consider disc visibility on the course.
- Randomization Note: Some packs feature random colors and weights. If specific colors or weights matter, verify availability before purchase.
