Robrasim Handmade Leather Yardage Book Cover
Best for: Players who value premium, durable leather with classic styling. This scorecard holder is crafted from genuine Italian oiled leather, designed to age beautifully while remaining sturdy. Its hand-stitched construction with wax thread enhances durability, making it ideal for frequent rounds or weekend warriors who want a professional look on the course.
Why selected: The combination of high-quality leather, hand-stitching, and a practical layout that fits standard scorecards and yardage books makes this a strong all-around choice. It also includes a slot and a pocket for organization, plus a built-in pencil loop for quick notations.
Caution: The premium leather may require conditioning to maintain its appearance over time. It is heavier than some PU alternatives, which could be a consideration for walkers seeking ultra-light gear.
Golf Scorecard Holder PU Leather Yardage Book Cover
Best for: Budget-minded golfers who still want multi-card capacity and weather resistance. This PU leather holder comes with two score cards and elastic bands to secure the scorecard and pencil, offering a practical, light option for casual rounds or practice days.
Why selected: The two-card design and elastic bands simplify on-course resets and quick score updates. PU leather provides softness and water resistance, helping protect essential documents during light rain or sweaty rounds.
Caution: PU leather is less durable than genuine leather over the long term and may show wear sooner with heavy use. It’s a good temporary or budget-friendly summer option rather than a long-term heirloom piece.
Xxerciz Golf Cart Steering Wheel Scorecard Holder
Best for: Cart-bound players who want immediate access to scorecards and pencils without taking hands off the wheel. This holder mounts to steering wheels using hook-and-loop straps and includes a premium metal clip for secure pageholding.
Why selected: Its universal fit design covers most EZGO, Club Car, and Yamaha carts, providing a stable, hands-free experience. The rubber under the clip protects pages while preventing slips during bumpy rides on the course.
Caution: Installation relies on the steering wheel’s surface and strap compatibility. Ensure your cart’s wheel area has sufficient clearance for mounting and writing while seated.

Best for: Practical players who want a straightforward leather option that includes a pencil. The Handy Picks model emphasizes reliability and ease of use with a classic look suitable for daily practice rounds.
Why selected: It is simple to use, includes a dedicated pencil, and uses durable leather construction. The design is compact enough for quick storage in a bag without bulk.
Caution: It relies on a single-card design, which may not accommodate larger yardage books for extended rounds. Check measurements against your typical scorecard size.
Buying Guide
What material should you choose?
Choose leather for a traditional, premium feel and longer-term durability. PU leather is lighter and often more affordable with good water resistance, but it may wear faster.
How many scorecards or yardage books do you need to carry?
Consider models with space for at least one scorecard, a yardage book, and a pencil. If you use multiple scorecards or plan to transport notes, look for extra pockets or an additional slot.
Is personalization important to you?
Personalized monograms or names add a personal touch or gift value, but they may affect turnaround time and returns. Confirm customization details before purchase.
Should you prioritize mounting or portability?
Cart-mounted holders offer quick access on a moving cart, while handheld or pocket-sized versions are lighter and easier to carry. Your preferred playing style will determine the best option.
What about weather and storage?
Water-resistant PU leather helps in light rain, while genuine leather may require conditioning to maintain appearance. Consider the local climate and how often the holder will be exposed to moisture.
Durability and maintenance tips
Regularly clean leather with a soft cloth and condition it as needed. For PU leather, wipe with a damp cloth and avoid harsh solvents. Store the holder away from excessive heat when not in use.
